What you’ll need:

Method:
- Prepare your surface to 120 grit to enable optimal oil penetration and adhesion.
- Apply the oil with a high-density roller and use an orbital buffer to burnish and buff the oil into the timber surface until even.
- Cure your first coat by holding your LED light approximately 2-3 cm above the surface and run it across the surface twice (back and forth).
- Once the first coat is cured, sand the surface to 180 grit.
- Repeat step 2 for the second coat. Please note that you will need significantly less oil on this coat.
- Repeat step 3 to cure.
- Once the second coat is cured, sand the surface to 320 grit or higher for your desired finish.
- Optional: Buff in any excess oil left on the buffer, roller or rag for a final coat. This is like a ‘half’ coat.
- Cure using your LED light.
- Your surface is ready to go!
